For months I have been working on prototyping what I believe is one of the best sets of kitchen tongs out there! I have worked with carbon steels and stainless steels, but could not get the results that I wanted until I started forging Titanium. Titanium is lighter and stronger than steel as well as corrosion resistant! Not to mention it does not transfer heat well. Making it what I believe to be the best material for this application.  These tongs are forged from 1/4 inch grade 5 titanium and weigh 2.8 oz and have an overall length of 12.25 inches.  They have excellent spring that will not weaken with age. Hand forged and assembled Right here in St. Matthews SC! These are a cooking utensil that will last you a life time!
